🍽️ Crunchy Sandwich with Ham, Cheese, and Radishes

Ingredients
- 20 g Lollo bionda (1 handful)
- 20 g red oak leaf lettuce (1 handful)
- 6 radishes
- 1 cucumber
- 2 boxes cress
- 8 slices whole grain bread (50–60 g each)
- 8 tsp cream cheese (45% fat in dry matter)
- 80 g turkey ham (thin slices)
- 80 g Emmental (thin slices; 45% fat in dry matter)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the salads thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Dry the leaves well with a kitchen towel or a salad spinner.
- 3. Tear the lettuce leaves into bite-sized pieces if they are too large.
- 4. Peel the radishes and the cucumber.
- 5. Wash the peeled vegetables again.
- 6. Slice the radishes into very thin slices.
- 7. Slice the cucumber into very thin slices as well.
- 8. Cut the cress directly at the base.
- 9. Place one slice of bread on each of four plates.
- 10. Spread the bread slices thinly with cream cheese.
- 11. Place Lollo bionda (a type of lettuce with frilly leaves) on the bread.
- 12. Add turkey ham as the next layer.
- 13. Distribute the cucumber slices evenly on top.
- 14. Place cheese slices on the vegetables.
- 15. Add oak leaf lettuce (a leaf lettuce with oak-shaped leaves).
- 16. Distribute the radish slices on the salad.
- 17. Add the cut cress as the top ingredient.
- 18. Spread the remaining bread slices with the rest of the cream cheese.
- 19. Place these bread slices on top of the filled halves as lids.
