🍽️ Crunchy Toast Sandwich with Smoked Fish, Dill, and Cucumber

Ingredients
- 8 slices toast bread
- 4 sprigs dill
- 1 small salad cucumber
- 80 g cream cheese
- 1 tbsp salad cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 200 g smoked fish (e.g. trout or mackerel)
Instructions
- 1. Cut off the crusts from the toast slices if you prefer not to have them.
- 2. Wash the dill thoroughly under running water.
- 3. Shake the dill dry to remove excess water.
- 4. Pluck the small dill leaves off the stems.
- 5. Finely chop the dill leaves with a knife.
- 6. Wash the cucumber under running water.
- 7. Cut off the ends of the cucumber.
- 8. Slice the cucumber into very thin rounds.
- 9. Place the cream cheese into a small bowl.
- 10. Add the salad cream to the cream cheese mixture.
- 11. Squeeze some lemon juice into the bowl.
- 12. Add the chopped dill to the bowl.
- 13. Stir all ingredients well together until a smooth cream forms.
- 14. Spread the dill cream evenly onto the toast slices.
- 15. Take half of the spread toast slices.
- 16. Crumble the smoked fish into small pieces using your fingers.
- 17. Distribute the crushed smoked fish onto the toast slices.
- 18. Place the thin cucumber slices on top of the fish.
- 19. Take the remaining toast slices.
- 20. Place an unspread toast slice on top of each sandwich as a lid.
- 21. Cut each sandwich diagonally in half.
- 22. Serve the sandwiches immediately.
