Ingredients
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp horseradish (jar)
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 large baguette rolls
- 300 g pastrami (in thin slices)
Instructions
- 1. Mix mayonnaise, crème fraîche, horseradish, and ketchup in a small bowl.
- 2. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- 3. Slice the buns in half lengthwise.
- 4. Place the buns on a baking sheet.
- 5. Preheat the oven and toast the buns briefly until crisp.
- 6. Remove the buns from the oven.
- 7. Let them cool down for a short moment.
- 8. Spread the prepared sauce generously onto the cut sides of the buns.
- 9. Place the pastrami on top of the sauce.
- 10. Close the sandwich and enjoy.
