  5. 5. Cut the pears into quarters.
  6. 6. Cut out the hard core area from the pear pieces.
  7. 7. Cut the pears into thin wedges.
  8. 8. Wash the tomatoes.
  9. 9. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
  10. 10. Wash the salad leaves.
  11. 11. Remove any hard stems or wilted parts from the salad.
  12. 12. Shake the salad dry to remove excess water.
  13. 13. Put the mayonnaise into a small bowl.
  14. 14. Add the cream cheese.
  15. 15. Finely chop the garlic.
  16. 16. Add the chopped garlic to the mayonnaise mixture.
  17. 17. Stir the mixture until smooth and creamy.
  18. 18. Add some lemon juice.
  19. 19. Season with cayenne pepper to taste.
