Ingredients
- 1 bunch radishes
- 200 g cream cheese
- 200 g quark
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tsp grated lemon zest
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Tabasco
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1 oval sandwich bread (white bread, approx. 500 g)
- 1 box garden cress
- 250 g smoked salmon (sliced)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the radishes, remove the stems, pat them dry, and slice them thinly.
- 2. Mix the cream cheese and quark in a bowl. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, the grated zest of the lemon, the lemon juice, a few drops of Tabasco, and a pinch of sugar. Stir everything well and finally taste to see if the spices are to your liking.
- 3. Slice the bread, but be careful not to cut all the way through the bottom layer so that the slices remain connected.
- 4. Cut the cress off the stems with a knife.
- 5. Spread a portion of the cream cheese mixture between every second slice of bread. Then place the radish slices, the smoked salmon, and the cress on top of these spread slices.
