  1. 1. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
  2. 2. Scrape out the vanilla seeds (the black pulp) from the pod.
  3. 3. Finely chop the walnut kernels, but keep two whole kernels for decoration.
  4. 4. Add the chopped walnuts, cocoa powder, sea buckthorn spread, milk, and ice to the blender.
  5. 5. Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  6. 6. Pour the shake into glasses.
  7. 7. Mix the vanilla seeds with the sugar.
  8. 8. Spread the vanilla sugar mixture over the top of the shake.
  9. 9. Garnish the shake with the two whole walnut kernels.
  10. 10. Serve the shake immediately.
