Ingredients
- 300 g Sea salt
- Rosemary
- Thyme
- Oregano
- Marjoram
- Tarragon
- Garlic
- Basil
- Wild garlic
- Sage
- Mint
- Anise
- Lemon balm
- Cilantro
- Sesame seeds
- Mustard seeds
- Lovage
- Lemon zest
Instructions
- 1. Ensure that you use a ratio of three parts salt to one part of the remaining ingredients (herbs, spices, lemon zest).
- 2. Choose the amounts of herbs according to your taste. As a rough guideline: use less rosemary and more lemon zest, up to the largest amounts of the main herbs. The total amount of herbs and spices should be 100 grams.
- 3. Remove the hard stems and stalks from the fresh herbs.
- 4. Grind the spices, mustard seeds, and sesame seeds finely in a mortar.
- 5. Put the ground spice, the salt, and the prepared herbs into a food processor.
- 6. Pulverize everything in the mixer until fine.
- 7. Fill the finished herb salt immediately into jars.
- 8. Seal the jars airtight.
- 9. Store the salt in a dark place.
