  6. 6. Halve both peppers lengthwise.
  7. 7. Remove the seeds and white membranes from the peppers.
  8. 8. Dice the bell pepper finely.
  9. 9. Finely chop the chili pepper.
  10. 10. Wash the spring onions.
  11. 11. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
  12. 12. Add the diced bell pepper, chopped chili, and onion rings to the fruit mixture.
  13. 13. Add the fresh herbs.
  14. 14. Squeeze the juice from one lime.
  15. 15. Mix the lime juice with the brown sugar.
  16. 16. Stir the sugar-lime mixture into the salsa.
