🍽️ Crispy Chicken Breast with Sage and Fried Potatoes

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 12 sage leaves
- 4 garlic cloves
- 500 g cooked potatoes (from the day before)
- 2 limes (in wedges)
- sage leaf (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Season the chicken breast pieces generously with salt and pepper.
- 2. Heat oil and one tablespoon of butter in a large frying pan.
- 3. Fry the chicken breasts on both sides over medium heat for about ten minutes until golden brown.
- 4. Remove the chicken breasts from the pan and keep them warm.
- 5. Peel the garlic clove and chop it finely.
- 6. Sauté the chopped garlic briefly in the pan.
- 7. Add fresh sage leaves and sauté them briefly as well.
- 8. Cut the potatoes into short batons.
- 9. Fry the potato batons in the remaining butter until crispy.
- 10. Season the fried potatoes with salt and pepper at the end.
- 11. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces or slices.
- 12. Place the chicken on the plates.
- 13. Serve with the fried potatoes and lime wedges.
- 14. Garnish the dish with fresh sage leaves and serve.
