🥗 Fresh Greek Vegetable Salad

Ingredients
- 1 cucumber
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 3 tbsp black olives
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 g feta
- 3 tbsp wine vinegar
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pinch sugar
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 3 tbsp basil (chopped)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the cucumber.
- 2. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise.
- 3. Scoop out the seeds with a spoon.
- 4. Cut the cucumber halves into half-moon slices.
- 5. Peel the onion.
- 6. Slice the onion into thin rings.
- 7. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 8. Remove the hard stem area at the top.
- 9. Cut the tomatoes into wedges or chunks.
- 10. Pit the olives.
- 11. Halve the olives.
- 12. Peel the garlic clove.
- 13. Mince the garlic very finely.
- 14. Cut the feta cheese into small cubes.
- 15. Mix the olive oil with the vinegar.
- 16. Add the sugar, salt, and pepper.
- 17. Stir the dressing ingredients well.
- 18. Fold in the prepared vegetables and garlic into the dressing.
- 19. Adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper to taste.
- 20. Divide the salad onto individual serving plates.
- 21. Top the salad with the feta cubes.
- 22. Serve the salad immediately.
