🥗 Crispy Bacon and Orange Salad

Ingredients
- 200 g lamb's lettuce
- 100 g mixed leaf salad (e. g. Lollo bionda, Lollo rossa)
- 2 oranges
- 1 tbsp honey
- 4 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 5 tbsp vegetable oil
- salt
- pepper
- 50 g breakfast bacon (breakfast bacon)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the salads under running water.
- 2. Remove wilted greens and tough stems.
- 3. Dry the leaves in a salad spinner.
- 4. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces if necessary.
- 5. Rinse the oranges under hot water.
- 6. Dry the oranges with a cloth.
- 7. Grate the peel finely to get zest.
- 8. Cut off the skin and the white pith from the oranges.
- 9. Cut the fillets out between the membranes.
- 10. Catch the released juice in a bowl.
- 11. Squeeze the remaining orange pulp.
- 12. Whisk the collected orange juice with honey.
- 13. Add vinegar and oil to the mixture.
- 14. Season the vinaigrette with salt and pepper.
- 15. Place the prepared salad on the plates.
- 16. Distribute the orange fillets on the salad.
- 17. Sprinkle the orange zest over it.
- 18. Fry the bacon in a non-stick pan.
- 19. Fry the bacon until crispy over medium heat.
- 20. Place the bacon on kitchen paper.
- 21. Let the excess fat drip off.
- 22. Place the bacon on the salad.
- 23. Drizzle the salad with the vinaigrette.
- 24. Serve the salad immediately.
