🥗 Fresh Beef Salad with Citrus Fruits and Nuts

Ingredients
- 1 grapefruit
- 1 orange
- 1 pomelo
- 250 g mixed salad (e.g. head lettuce, iceberg lettuce, arugula, romaine lettuce)
- 500 g cooked beef roast
- 1 tsp liquid honey
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 80 g peeled walnuts
Instructions
- 1. Peel the citrus fruits completely. Remove the white pith underneath. Carefully cut the fruit segments out of the membranes. Cut the segments into smaller pieces if necessary.
- 2. Wash the salad thoroughly. Remove any wilted greens. Spin the salad dry. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- 3. Slice the meat into thin slices. Then cut these slices into wide strips.
- 4. Whisk the honey with the oil and the lime juice. Season the vinaigrette (a dressing made of oil and acid) with salt and pepper to taste.
- 5. Heat a pan without fat. Toast the nuts in it briefly. Remove the nuts from the pan. Let them cool down. Coarsely chop the cooled nuts.
- 6. Mix the salad with the citrus fruits and the beef. Divide the salad onto plates. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over it. Drizzle the salad with the vinaigrette. Serve the dish immediately.
