🥗 Fruity Chicken Salad with Avocado

Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast fillet
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 pinch freshly ground pepper
- 1 tsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp sweet and sour chili sauce
- 1 tbsp soybean oil
- 0.5 head iceberg lettuce (approx. 250 g)
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 0.5 tsp mustard
- salt
- 0.5 tsp sugar
- 1 pinch white pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 250 g strawberries
- 1 avocado
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the chicken meat into thin strips.
- 4. Whisk soy sauce, pepper, ketchup, 1 to 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, and chili sauce in a bowl.
- 5. Whisk the oil into the marinade.
- 6. Coat the meat strips in the marinade.
- 7. Let the marinated meat strips rest covered in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- 8. Separate the iceberg lettuce into individual leaves.
- 9. Remove tough stems and any dirty spots from the leaves.
- 10. Wash the lettuce leaves thoroughly.
- 11. Let the water drain from the salad.
- 12. Tear the lettuce leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- 13. Whisk vinegar, mustard, salt, sugar, and white pepper for the dressing.
- 14. Whisk the olive oil into the dressing.
- 15. Toss the iceberg lettuce with the dressing until well coated.
- 16. Arrange the salad on plates.
- 17. Remove the green stems and leaves from the strawberries.
- 18. Rinse the strawberries.
- 19. Let the strawberries drain.
- 20. Slice the strawberries.
- 21. Distribute the strawberry slices over the salad.
- 22. Halve the avocado lengthwise.
- 23. Remove the pit from the avocado half.
- 24. Peel the flesh of the avocado.
- 25. Cut the avocado flesh into strips.
- 26. Arrange the avocado strips on the iceberg lettuce.
- 27. Drizzle the remaining lemon juice over the avocado.
- 28. Sear the chicken meat in a non-stick pan on all sides.
- 29. Place the fried chicken meat on the salad.
- 30. Serve the salad immediately.
