🥗 Fig, Ham and Goat Cheese Salad with Roasted Nuts

Ingredients
- 75 g peeled hazelnut kernels
- 250 g mixed salad (e.g. lettuce hearts, watercress)
- 6 figs
- 200 g goat cream cheese
- 160 g ham (8 slices)
- 30 g liquid thyme honey (2 tbsp)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Place the nuts in a dry frying pan.
- 2. Roast them over medium heat until they smell fragrant.
- 3. Remove the nuts from the pan.
- 4. Let them cool down completely.
- 5. Roughly chop the cooled nuts.
- 6. Thoroughly wash the salad greens.
- 7. Remove any tough stems or wilted leaves.
- 8. Dry the greens well.
- 9. Tear the salad into bite-sized pieces.
- 10. Cut the figs into wedges.
- 11. Crumble the goat cheese roughly by hand.
- 12. Cut the ham into thin strips.
- 13. Whisk the honey with the lemon juice.
- 14. Stir the oil into the honey-lemon mixture.
- 15. Season the vinaigrette with salt.
- 16. Season the vinaigrette with pepper.
- 17. Mix the salad with the goat cheese.
- 18. Fold the ham into the salad mixture.
- 19. Fold the fig wedges into the salad mixture.
- 20. Divide the salad mixture among four plates.
- 21. Drizzle each plate with the vinaigrette.
- 22. Sprinkle the roasted nuts over the salad.
