🥗 Fruity Salad with Beans, Strawberries, and Figs

Ingredients
- 200 g fava bean (shelled)
- 1 handful radish
- 3 romaine lettuce hearts
- 200 g fresh strawberries
- 2 figs
- 1 handful watercress
- 2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- 1 tsp liquid honey
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Bring water to a boil and add some salt.
- 2. Add the beans to the boiling water and cook them for about 6 minutes.
- 3. Drain the beans and rinse them immediately with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 4. Let the beans drain well.
- 5. Trim the radishes and wash them thoroughly.
- 6. Slice the radishes into very thin slices.
- 7. Remove the leaves from the salad greens and wash them.
- 8. Shake the salad dry or pat it dry carefully.
- 9. Tear the salad into smaller pieces if desired.
- 10. Wash the strawberries.
- 11. Halve large strawberries.
- 12. Pat the strawberries dry.
- 13. Wash the figs.
- 14. Halve or quarter the figs.
- 15. Wash the cress.
- 16. Shake the cress dry.
- 17. Place all prepared ingredients in a large bowl.
- 18. Whisk together vinegar, lemon juice, honey, oil, salt, and pepper for the dressing.
- 19. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the dressing to taste.
- 20. Drizzle the dressing over the salad just before serving.
- 21. Serve with fresh white bread if you like.
