🥗 Caramelized Tomatoes with Garlic and Basil

Ingredients
- 1 kg cherry tomatoes
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
- sea salt
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- pepper (from the mill)
- coarsely chopped basil (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom heat setting.
- 2. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly. Optionally remove the stems. Place the tomatoes on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 3. Lightly dust the tomatoes with powdered sugar. Then season them with salt.
- 4. Place the tray in the oven. Bake the tomatoes for about 5 minutes. They should caramelize slightly and begin to wrinkle.
- 5. Remove the tray from the oven. Peel the garlic and slice it into thin pieces.
- 6. Mix the garlic with lemon juice and oil in a small bowl.
- 7. Pour the garlic-oil mixture over the warm tomatoes. Gently toss everything together.
- 8. Let the salad cool down to lukewarm. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- 9. Sprinkle the finished salad with fresh basil. Serve it now.
