🍕 Salami Pizza

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 20 g yeast
- 0.125 l lukewarm water
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- 400 g tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 small red chili pepper
- 200 g mozzarella
- 100 g salami (sliced)
- 2 medium mushrooms
Instructions
- 1. Sift the flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Press a small indentation into the center of the flour with your finger.
- 3. Crumble the fresh yeast into some lukewarm water.
- 4. Pour the yeast-water mixture into the indentation.
- 5. Lightly dust the yeast with a little flour.
- 6. Cover the bowl with a cloth.
- 7. Let the yeast mixture rest for 15 minutes.
- 8. Add the remaining water, salt, and oil to the dough.
- 9. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
- 10. Cover the dough again with the cloth.
- 11. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 12. Wash the chili pepper under running water.
- 13. Cut the chili pepper lengthwise.
- 14. Remove the seeds and the white inner membrane.
- 15. Dice the chili finely.
- 16. Blanch the tomatoes with boiling water.
- 17. Shock the tomatoes immediately in cold water.
- 18. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 19. Dice the tomato flesh into small cubes.
- 20. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot.
- 21. Add the tomato cubes and the chili to the pot.
- 22. Simmer the sauce for a short time.
- 23. Season the sauce with thyme, salt, and pepper.
- 24. Slice the mozzarella.
- 25. Wipe the mushrooms clean with a cloth.
- 26. Slice the mushrooms.
- 27. Lightly grease the pizza pan with oil.
- 28. Knead the dough briefly again.
- 29. Roll out the dough.
- 30. Place the dough in the pizza pan.
- 31. Shape the edge of the dough slightly thicker.
- 32. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
- 33. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
- 34. Top the pizza with mozzarella slices.
- 35. Top the pizza with mushroom slices.
- 36. Top the pizza with salami slices.
- 37. Drizzle the pizza with a little olive oil.
- 38. Bake the pizza for approx. 12 to 15 minutes.
- 39. Remove the pizza when the cheese has melted.
