🍕 Salami Pizza with Chili Rings

Ingredients
- 1 cube fresh yeast (approx. 42 g)
- 600 g flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 50 ml olive oil
- flour (for the work surface)
- 400 g chopped tomatoes (can)
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 balls mozzarella (125 g each)
- 400 g salami (sliced)
- 2 red chili peppers
- 2 green chili peppers
Instructions
- 1. Stir the yeast into 300 ml of lukewarm water in a bowl.
- 2. Mix the flour with the salt in a separate bowl.
- 3. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
- 4. Pour the yeast water and the oil into the well.
- 5. Process the ingredients with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to form a smooth dough.
- 6. Knead the dough vigorously by hand on a floured surface for about 10 minutes.
- 7. If the dough is too sticky, work in a little more flour.
- 8. If the dough is too dry, add a little lukewarm water.
- 9. Place the dough back into the bowl.
- 10. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 220°C top and bottom heat.
- 12. Knead the risen dough once more.
- 13. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
- 14. Roll each portion on a floured surface to the size of the pizza trays.
- 15. Place the dough bases on the greased pizza trays.
- 16. Puree the tomatoes roughly.
- 17. Season the tomato sauce with salt and pepper.
- 18. Spread the sauce evenly over the dough.
- 19. Sprinkle oregano over the sauce.
- 20. Slice the mozzarella cheese.
- 21. Place the mozzarella slices on the sauce.
- 22. Cover the pizza with the salami slices.
- 23. Wash the chilies.
- 24. Slice the chilies into rings and remove the seeds.
- 25. Sprinkle the chili rings over the pizzas.
- 26. Place the pizzas in the preheated oven.
- 27. Bake the pizzas for about 20 minutes.
- 28. Remove the pizzas from the oven.
- 29. Serve the pizzas immediately.
