🍕 Crispy Salami Pizza

Ingredients
- 250 g flour
- 20 g yeast
- 0.125 l lukewarm water
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- 400 g tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 150 g mozzarella
- 50 g salami
Instructions
- 1. Put the flour into a large bowl.
- 2. Make a small well in the center of the flour with your finger.
- 3. Dissolve the yeast in a little water.
- 4. Pour the yeast-water mixture into the well.
- 5. Lightly dust the yeast with some flour.
- 6. Let the mixture rest, covered, for 15 minutes.
- 7. Add the remaining water, salt, and oil.
- 8. Knead everything into a soft dough.
- 9. Let the dough rise, covered, in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 10. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes.
- 11. Rinse the tomatoes immediately under cold water.
- 12. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 13. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes.
- 14. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot.
- 15. Simmer the tomato cubes with the oil for a little while.
- 16. Season the sauce with thyme, salt, and pepper.
- 17. Slice the mozzarella.
- 18. Cut the salami into thin slices.
- 19. Lightly grease the pizza pan with oil.
- 20. Knead the dough briefly again.
- 21. Roll out the dough.
- 22. Place the dough in the pizza pan.
- 23. Shape the edge of the dough slightly thicker.
- 24. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
- 25. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
- 26. Top the pizza with the mozzarella slices.
- 27. Top the pizza with the salami slices.
- 28. Drizzle the pizza with a little olive oil.
- 29. Bake the pizza for about 12 minutes in the hot oven.
- 30. Remove the pizza when the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
