🍽️ Classic Niçoise Salad

Ingredients
- 200 g leaf lettuce
- 200 g beans
- salt
- 4 tomatoes
- 2 eggs
- 1 can tuna (in water)
- 2 garlic cloves
- lemons
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 tbsp whipping cream
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- salt
- pepper
- 4 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash the beans thoroughly.
- 2. Trim off the tough ends.
- 3. Cut the beans in half crosswise.
- 4. Bring plenty of water with salt to a boil.
- 5. Cook the beans in it for about 10 minutes.
- 6. Drain the beans.
- 7. Shock them immediately with cold water.
- 8. Let the beans drain well.
- 9. Wash the tomatoes.
- 10. Dry the tomatoes with a cloth.
- 11. Cut the tomatoes into eighths.
- 12. Wash the salad greens.
- 13. Spin the salad dry.
- 14. Tear the salad into bite-sized pieces.
- 15. Boil the eggs hard.
- 16. Peel the boiled eggs.
- 17. Cut the eggs into eighths as well.
- 18. Take a large bowl.
- 19. Add all salad ingredients to the bowl.
- 20. Leave the eggs aside for now.
- 21. Peel the garlic.
- 22. Press the garlic through a press.
- 23. Mix the garlic with the remaining ingredients for the vinaigrette (dressing).
- 24. Mix the vinaigrette well with the salad.
- 25. Distribute the salad onto plates.
- 26. Drain the tuna oil.
- 27. Break the tuna into small pieces.
- 28. Place the tuna pieces on the salad.
- 29. Garnish the salad with the eggs.
