🍽️ Creamy Pudding with Fresh Oranges

Ingredients
- 6 sheets white gelatin
- 300 ml whipping cream
- 200 ml milk
- 40 g sugar
- 1 vanilla pod
- 1 untreated orange
- 1 tbsp honey
- mint (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Place the gelatin in a bowl of cold water and let it bloom.
- 2. Add the cream, milk, sugar, and the vanilla pod cut lengthwise to a pot.
- 3. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
- 4. Let the mixture simmer gently for about 10 minutes.
- 5. Remove the pot from the heat and take out the vanilla pod.
- 6. Squeeze the water out of the soaked gelatin.
- 7. Stir the gelatin into the warm cream mixture until it has completely dissolved.
- 8. Pour the liquid into four small glasses.
- 9. Allow the puddings to cool down.
- 10. Place the glasses, covered, in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours until the pudding is firm.
- 11. Wash the orange under hot water and dry it.
- 12. Peel fine strips from the orange peel (zest).
- 13. Peel the orange completely with a sharp knife, ensuring no white pith remains.
- 14. Carefully cut out the fruit segments (fillets) between the membranes.
- 15. Squeeze the juice from the remaining fruit.
- 16. Mix the juice in a bowl with the orange fillets and zest.
- 17. Stir the honey into the orange mixture.
- 18. Distribute the orange pieces over the pudding portions when serving.
- 19. Garnish the dish with fresh mint leaves.
