🍰 Creamy Panna Cotta with Strawberries

Ingredients
- 5 sheets white gelatin
- 1 vanilla pod
- 500 ml whipping cream
- 3 level tbsp raw cane sugar
- 4 strawberries (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Place the gelatin sheets in a bowl of cold water for five minutes.
- 2. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
- 3. Scrape out the tiny vanilla seeds from the pod using a knife.
- 4. Add the cream, sugar, and vanilla seeds to a saucepan.
- 5. Place the empty vanilla pod into the saucepan as well.
- 6. Heat the mixture over low heat and let it simmer gently for about five minutes.
- 7. Remove the vanilla pod from the warm cream and take the saucepan off the heat.
- 8. Squeeze the soaked gelatin well to remove excess water.
- 9. Stir the gelatin into the warm vanilla cream until it has completely dissolved.
- 10. Rinse four small molds briefly with cold water.
- 11. Pour the vanilla cream into the prepared molds.
- 12. Place the molds, covered, in the refrigerator for five hours.
- 13. Wash the strawberries and remove any unripe spots.
- 14. Let the strawberries drain well.
- 15. Carefully turn out the cold panna cotta onto dessert plates.
- 16. Decorate the plates with the fresh strawberries.
