Ingredients
- 0.5 l heavy cream
- 250 g sugar
- 50 g powdered sugar
- a little oil
Instructions
- 1. Pour the cream and sugar into a saucepan.
- 2. Heat the mixture until it comes to a boil.
- 3. Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer gently while stirring constantly.
- 4. Simmer for 45 to 60 minutes until the mixture turns a light brown color.
- 5. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- 6. Stir the powdered sugar into the warm caramel mixture.
- 7. Line a rectangular pan with oiled aluminum foil.
- 8. Pour the caramel mixture into the prepared pan.
- 9. Let the caramels cool down completely.
- 10. Cut the cooled mass into small pieces.
