  6. 6. Carefully remove the small back fins.
  7. 7. Cut the herring fillets in half lengthwise.
  8. 8. Remove the central bones using a knife.
  9. 9. Bring the cream to a boil in a pot.
  10. 10. Let the boiled cream cool down completely.
  11. 11. Thoroughly wash the cress under running water.
  12. 12. Chop the cress into small pieces.
  13. 13. Mix the cooled cream with the herring fillets.
  14. 14. Add the chopped cress to the mixture.
  15. 15. Store the finished dish in the refrigerator.
  16. 16. The dish keeps for two to three days.
