🥤 Moist Chocolate Cake with Low Flour Content

Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 100 g butter
- 160 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 50 g flour
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- 1. Place a heatproof bowl over a pot of hot water.
- 2. Add the broken chocolate pieces and 2 tablespoons of water to the bowl.
- 3. Let the chocolate melt slowly.
- 4. Add the butter and the sugar.
- 5. Stir the mixture until everything is completely melted and smooth.
- 6. Separate the eggs carefully.
- 7. Remove the yolk from the white.
- 8. Stir the yolk into the chocolate mixture.
- 9. Add the flour to the chocolate mixture.
- 10. Mix everything well.
- 11. Whip the egg white until very stiff.
- 12. Gently fold the stiff egg white into the chocolate mixture.
- 13. Line a springform pan with baking paper.
- 14. Fill the mixture into the pan.
- 15. Place the pan in a cold oven.
- 16. Turn the oven on to 180 °C.
- 17. Bake the cake for 40 to 60 minutes.
- 18. Insert a wooden skewer into the center of the cake.
- 19. Check if no liquid batter or moist crumbs stick to the skewer.
- 20. Remove the cake from the oven.
- 21. Remove the side of the pan.
- 22. Turn the cake out onto a wire rack.
- 23. Remove the baking paper.
- 24. Let the cake cool.
- 25. Dust the finished cake with powdered sugar before serving.
