  2. 2. Lightly grease a rectangular baking pan measuring 23 cm.
  3. 3. Line the greased pan with baking paper.
  4. 4. Place the dates and water into a blender.
  5. 5. Blend the mixture until it forms a smooth paste.
  6. 6. Set the date paste aside.
  7. 7. Heat the butter and chocolate in a large pan.
  8. 8. Stir constantly until everything has melted.
  9. 9. Remove the pan from the heat source.
  10. 10. Allow the chocolate mixture to cool down slightly.
  11. 11. Stir the date paste into the chocolate.
  12. 12. Add the eggs one by one.
  13. 13. Thoroughly mix in each egg before adding the next one.
  14. 14. Place the cocoa powder and flour into a separate bowl.
  15. 15. Sift the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture.
  16. 16. Mix everything together with a wooden spoon.
  17. 17. Ensure the batter is smooth.
  18. 18. Add the walnuts to the batter.
  19. 19. Gently fold the walnuts into the batter.
  20. 20. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  21. 21. Bake the brownies for 20 to 25 minutes.
