  2. 2. Wash the chili pepper and pat it dry.
  3. 3. Cut the chili pepper lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  4. 4. Finely chop the deseeded chili as well.
  5. 5. Halve the limes and squeeze out the juice.
  6. 6. Measure exactly 50 milliliters of lime juice.
  7. 7. Heat rapeseed oil and one tablespoon of olive oil in a pot.
  8. 8. Sauté the chopped garlic until light brown over medium heat.
  9. 9. Add the chopped chili, lime juice, cumin, salt, and pepper to the pot.
  10. 10. Bring the sauce to a boil once.
  11. 11. Pour the hot sauce into a small bowl.
  12. 12. Let the sauce cool down slightly in the bowl.
  13. 13. Wash the fresh coriander and shake it dry.
  14. 14. Finely chop the coriander leaves.
  15. 15. Stir the chopped coriander leaves into the cooled sauce.
  16. 16. Let the sauce steep with the coriander for another 30 minutes.
  17. 17. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste if necessary.
  18. 18. Rinse the rump steaks briefly and pat them dry.
  19. 19. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
  20. 20. Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan.
  21. 21. Fry the steaks over high heat for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
  22. 22. Fry the steaks a little longer if you prefer them well-done.
  23. 23. Peel the onion and cut it into thick slices.
  24. 24. Remove the cooked steaks from the pan.
  25. 25. Wrap the steaks in aluminum foil.
  26. 26. Let the wrapped steaks rest for a short time.
  27. 27. Place the onion slices into the hot pan.
  28. 28. Fry the onions for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
  29. 29. Season the fried onion slices with salt and pepper.
  30. 30. Rinse the organic lime under hot water and dry it.
  31. 31. Cut the lime into wedges.
  32. 32. Slice the rump steaks into thin slices.
  33. 33. Arrange the steak strips on pre-warmed plates.
  34. 34. Drizzle the Mojo sauce over the steaks.
  35. 35. Garnish the dish with the fried onion slices and lime wedges.
