  4. 4. Preheat the oven to 250 °C (220 °C for fan-assisted ovens or gas setting 4 to 5).
  5. 5. Place the whole bell pepper in the oven.
  6. 6. Roast the bell pepper until bubbles form on the skin.
  7. 7. Remove the bell pepper from the oven and peel off the charred skin.
  8. 8. Halve the bell pepper and remove the seeds.
  9. 9. Cut the flesh of the bell pepper into small cubes.
  10. 10. Peel the onion and the garlic clove.
  11. 11. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  12. 12. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
  13. 13. Sauté the onion and garlic over medium heat until they become translucent.
  14. 14. Add the bell pepper cubes.
  15. 15. Sauté the pepper for about 2 minutes while stirring.
  16. 16. Stir in the egg yolk, breadcrumbs, and basil into the vegetable mixture.
  17. 17. Season the filling with salt and pepper.
