🍰 Fruity Red Wine Sorbet

Ingredients
- 250 ml red wine
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 100 g sugar
- 500 g strawberries
- 2 sprigs mint
Instructions
- 1. Pour red wine, lemon juice, and sugar into a pot.
- 2. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for about 4 minutes until a syrup forms.
- 3. Pour the hot syrup into a bowl.
- 4. Let the syrup cool down completely.
- 5. Remove the stems and leaves from the strawberries.
- 6. Wash the strawberries thoroughly.
- 7. Puree the strawberries into a smooth mixture.
- 8. Strain the strawberry puree through a fine sieve to remove seeds and fibers.
- 9. Stir the cooled syrup thoroughly into the strained strawberry puree.
- 10. Place the finished sorbet mixture in a bowl and put it in the refrigerator to chill.
- 11. Transfer the cold mixture into a shallow container that fits well in your freezer.
- 12. Freeze the sorbet for about 6 hours.
- 13. Take the container out of the freezer after 30 minutes.
- 14. Blend the partially frozen mixture with a hand blender until it is creamy.
- 15. Put the container back into the freezer.
- 16. Repeat the blending every 30 minutes for the first 2 hours.
- 17. After the first 2 hours, blend the mixture every 60 minutes.
- 18. Continue until the red wine sorbet has a smooth and creamy consistency.
