🍰 Pears in Red Wine Syrup

Ingredients
- 4 Pears
- 400 ml dry red wine
- 3 tbsp Marsala
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 0.5 cinnamon stick
- 0.5 lemon
- 2 star anise
- 80 g Parmesan (block)
Instructions
- 1. Pour red wine, Marsala, sugar, cinnamon stick, star anise, and lemon juice into a large pot and warm the mixture.
- 2. Peel the pears but leave the stem base intact. Place them in the pot, cover it, and simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes until they are soft but still hold their shape. Spoon some of the liquid over the fruit occasionally.
- 3. Place the pears on plates with some of the syrup, crumble the cheese into small pieces, and arrange it next to the fruit.
