🍽️ Refreshing Red Hibiscus Iced Tea

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp dried hibiscus flowers
- 24 ice cubes
- sugar (to taste)
- 1 untreated lemon
Instructions
- 1. Place the hibiscus flowers into a tea strainer.
- 2. Place the strainer with the flowers into a teapot.
- 3. Pour 750 milliliters of boiling water over the flowers.
- 4. Let the tea steep for ten minutes.
- 5. Pour the finished tea from the teapot into another container.
- 6. Add half of the ice cubes to the tea.
- 7. Stir the tea briefly so it cools down faster and retains its color.
- 8. Sweeten the tea to taste with sugar.
- 9. Place the tea in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- 10. Let the tea cool down completely.
- 11. Fill the remaining ice cubes into the drinking glasses.
- 12. Wash the lemon under hot water.
- 13. Dry the lemon with a cloth.
- 14. Cut the lemon in half.
- 15. Cut four thin slices from the lemon.
- 16. Add the lemon slices to the glasses.
- 17. Squeeze the juice from the remaining lemon halves.
- 18. Pour the lemon juice into the cooled tea.
- 19. Stir the tea well with the lemon juice.
- 20. Pour the finished tea over the ice cubes in the glasses.
- 21. Serve the tea immediately.
