  1. 1. Put 300 milliliters of water and the sugar into a pot.
  2. 2. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
  3. 3. Let the syrup bubble gently for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove the pot from the heat and let the syrup cool down completely.
  5. 5. Peel the beetroot and the apples.
  6. 6. Cut the fruit and vegetables into coarse cubes.
  7. 7. Process the cubes in a juicer to make fresh juice.
  8. 8. Stir the lemon juice and the cooled sugar syrup into the juice.
  9. 9. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  10. 10. Serve the juice as desired with ice cubes and lemon zest.
