  1. 1. Thoroughly wash the Brussels sprouts under running water.
  2. 2. Remove any wilted leaves and the tough stem ends.
  3. 3. Cut a cross shape into the stem ends of each head.
  4. 4. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  5. 5. Cook the Brussels sprouts in it for about 10 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. 6. Drain the Brussels sprouts and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process.
  7. 7. Let the Brussels sprouts drain well in a colander.
  8. 8. Peel the onion in the meantime.
  9. 9. Slice the onion into thin rings.
  10. 10. Heat oil in a large frying pan.
  11. 11. Fry the drained Brussels sprouts over medium heat for 2 minutes.
  12. 12. Place the onion rings and salmon slices in a large bowl.
  13. 13. Add the warm Brussels sprouts to the bowl.
  14. 14. Wash the dill thoroughly.
  15. 15. Shake the dill dry.
  16. 16. Finely chop the dill.
  17. 17. Peel the horseradish.
  18. 18. Grate the horseradish finely.
  19. 19. Mix the chopped dill and grated horseradish with the salad.
  20. 20. Drizzle the finished salad with lemon juice.
