🍰 Rose Ice Cream

Ingredients
- 100 ml milk
- 0.5 vanilla pod
- 3 egg yolks
- 50 g sugar
- 100 ml strawberry syrup
- 2 drops rose oil
- 500 ml whipping cream
- 4 organic rose petals
- 1 tbsp coarse sugar
Instructions
- 1. Split the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds.
- 2. Heat the milk together with the vanilla seeds in a pot.
- 3. Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until creamy.
- 4. Remove the vanilla pod from the hot milk.
- 5. Stir the hot milk slowly into the egg yolk and sugar mixture.
- 6. Heat the mixture over a water bath until it is creamy.
- 7. Let the cream cool down while stirring constantly.
- 8. Stir in the rose oil drops and strawberry syrup into the cooled cream.
- 9. Whip the cream until stiff.
- 10. Gently fold the whipped cream into the rose cream.
- 11. Pour the mixture into a freezing container and place it in the freezer for 2 hours.
- 12. Stir the ice cream several times during the freezing process.
- 13. Lightly moisten the rose petals.
- 14. Roll the moist rose petals in the sugar.
- 15. Fill the ice cream into glasses.
- 16. Garnish the ice cream with the sugared rose petals.
