🍰 Floral Sparkling Wine Granita

Ingredients
- 180 g rose syrup
- 40 ml rose liqueur (specialty food stores)
- 1 bottle champagne (rosé)
- organic rose petals (from unsprayed roses)
Instructions
- 1. Stir the rose syrup and rose liqueur together in a bowl until well combined.
- 2. Pour the champagne into the mixture and stir everything gently.
- 3. Add small cut rose petals to the liquid if desired and stir them in.
- 4. Pour the mixture into a container that is as flat as possible.
- 5. Place the container in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator.
- 6. Wait until the liquid at the edge of the container starts to freeze.
- 7. Stir the frozen layer with a spoon.
- 8. Repeat the stirring process several times until you achieve the desired fine ice texture.
- 9. Scrape off the frozen layer with a spoon.
- 10. Fill the granité into glasses and serve.
