🍽️ Garlic Shrimp on Toasted Ciabatta

Ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 chili pepper
- 12 shrimp (kitchen-ready peeled and deveined)
- 50 ml olive oil
- salt
- 12 slices ciabatta
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
- 2. Thoroughly wash the bell peppers.
- 3. Cut the bell peppers in half.
- 4. Remove the seeds and white inner membranes from the bell peppers.
- 5. Cut the deseeded bell peppers into thick strips.
- 6. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 7. Slice the garlic cloves into thin pieces.
- 8. Wash the chili pepper.
- 9. Cut the chili pepper in half lengthwise.
- 10. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper.
- 11. Cut the chili pepper into thin longitudinal strips.
- 12. Wash the shrimp.
- 13. Pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
- 14. Heat oil in a frying pan.
- 15. Fry the garlic slices slowly in the hot oil until golden brown.
- 16. Add the chili strips and the pepper strips to the pan.
- 17. Simmer the vegetables while stirring constantly for 6 to 8 minutes.
- 18. Wait until the pepper strips are soft.
- 19. Add the dry shrimp to the pan.
- 20. Fry the shrimp for 1 to 2 minutes.
- 21. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 22. Season the mixture with salt.
- 23. Place the ciabatta slices on a baking sheet.
- 24. Toast the ciabatta slices in the oven for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- 25. Top the toasted ciabatta slices with the garlic shrimp mixture.
- 26. Serve the dish immediately.
