🍽️ Juicy Roastbeef with Herbs

Ingredients
- 1 kg Roast Beef (with rind)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 1 sprig Rosemary
- 1 sprig Thyme
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the roast beef under cold running water.
- 2. Pat the meat completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut off the fat rind from the meat.
- 4. Cut the separated fat rind into small cubes.
- 5. Rub the roast beef generously with salt and pepper all over.
- 6. Place the pork rind cubes into a hot casserole dish.
- 7. Render the fat slowly over medium heat.
- 8. Sear the roast beef in the hot fat on all sides.
- 9. Let it sear for about 4 minutes over high heat.
- 10. Add the garlic and herbs to the casserole dish.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (conventional heat).
- 12. Place the casserole dish with the meat into the preheated oven.
- 13. Cook the roast beef for about 1 hour.
- 14. Remove the casserole dish from the oven afterwards.
- 15. Slice the roast beef into thin strips.
