🍽️ Red Rice with Prawns

Ingredients
- 500 g Riso Gallo (Red Risotto Rice)
- 300 g Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 300 g Tomato sauce
- 2 Glasses White wine
- 5 Garlic cloves (, chopped)
- Oil
- Sugar
- Salt
- Parsley (for decoration)
Instructions
- 1. Fill a very large pot with water and place it on the stove.
- 2. Add some salt and the Riso Gallo Riz Rouge rice to the water.
- 3. Bring the water to a boil.
- 4. Cook the rice for about 20 minutes.
- 5. Add some oil to a pot or wok and heat it up.
- 6. Add the chopped garlic cloves to the hot oil.
- 7. Sauté the garlic until it becomes translucent.
- 8. Add the prawns to the pan.
- 9. Fry the prawns.
- 10. Deglaze the dish with white wine.
- 11. Wait until the liquid has completely evaporated.
- 12. Stir in the tomato sauce.
- 13. Add one teaspoon of sugar.
- 14. Season to taste with some salt.
- 15. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes.
- 16. Add the previously drained Riz Rouge rice to the sauce.
- 17. Let everything sit for a few minutes.
- 18. Plate the dish.
- 19. Sprinkle the food with some parsley.
- 20. Serve the dish immediately.
