🍽️ Teriyaki Beef Skewers

Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1.5 cm fresh ginger
- 50 ml mirin (sweet rice wine)
- 5 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp peanut oil
- 0.5 tsp ground cumin
- 600 g beef tenderloin
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic clove and the piece of ginger.
- 2. Press the garlic into a small bowl.
- 3. Grate the ginger finely and add it to the garlic mixture.
- 4. Stir the mixture with the remaining ingredients for the sauce.
- 5. Rinse the meat under running water.
- 6. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 7. Cut the meat into thin strips along the grain.
- 8. Place the meat strips into the marinade.
- 9. Make sure the meat is completely covered by the sauce.
- 10. Place the covered bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- 11. Let the meat drain well after marinating.
- 12. Lightly oil the wooden skewers.
- 13. Thread the meat strips onto the skewers in a wavy pattern.
- 14. Place the skewers on the preheated grill.
- 15. Grill the skewers for about 3 minutes on each side.
- 16. Turn the skewers regularly while grilling.
- 17. Serve the finished skewers hot.
