  1. 1. Peel the garlic clove and the piece of ginger.
  2. 2. Press the garlic into a small bowl.
  3. 3. Grate the ginger finely and add it to the garlic mixture.
  4. 4. Stir the mixture with the remaining ingredients for the sauce.
  5. 5. Rinse the meat under running water.
  6. 6. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
  7. 7. Cut the meat into thin strips along the grain.
  8. 8. Place the meat strips into the marinade.
  9. 9. Make sure the meat is completely covered by the sauce.
  10. 10. Place the covered bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  11. 11. Let the meat drain well after marinating.
  12. 12. Lightly oil the wooden skewers.
  13. 13. Thread the meat strips onto the skewers in a wavy pattern.
  14. 14. Place the skewers on the preheated grill.
