🍽️ Juicy Beef Skewers with Figs

Ingredients
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 hot peppers
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 600 g beef fillet
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 red onions
- 4 firm figs
- 2 unwaxed limes
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic clove and chop it very finely.
- 2. Wash the pepper, remove the stem, and chop it finely.
- 3. Mix the chopped vegetables with the olive oil in a bowl.
- 4. Cut the beef into cubes of approx. 3 cm.
- 5. Season the meat cubes with pepper.
- 6. Add the meat to the oil-vegetable mixture and let it marinate for about 1 hour.
- 7. Peel the onions and cut them lengthwise into wedges.
- 8. Cut the figs into wedges.
- 9. Cut the limes into wedges.
- 10. Thread the meat, onions, limes, and figs alternately onto 8 long wooden skewers.
- 11. Preheat the grill.
- 12. Grill the skewers all around for 6 to 8 minutes.
- 13. Brush the skewers with the remaining oil occasionally while grilling.
- 14. Finally season the finished skewers with salt and pepper.
- 15. Serve the skewers with colorful salad as desired.
