🍽️ Hearty Beef Stew with Pumpkin

Ingredients
- 600 g beef
- pepper
- 4 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 250 ml red wine
- 150 ml meat broth
- 500 g Hokkaido pumpkin
- 500 g yam
- 2 tbsp sauce thickener
- salt
- pepper
- chili powder
Instructions
- 1. Cut the beef into bite-sized cubes.
- 2. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- 3. Sear the meat in a pot until it is brown.
- 4. Deglaze the meat with wine.
- 5. Add some beef broth.
- 6. Let the stew simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
- 7. Peel the pumpkin and the yam.
- 8. Remove the seeds from the pumpkin.
- 9. Cut the pumpkin and yam into pieces about 2 centimeters in size.
- 10. Add the vegetables to the meat.
- 11. Let the stew simmer for another 20 to 30 minutes.
- 12. Add more broth if necessary.
- 13. Check if the meat and vegetables are soft.
- 14. Stir in a thickening agent to bind the sauce.
- 15. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and chili powder.
- 16. Plate the stew.
- 17. Serve the dish warm.
