🍽️ Juicy Beef Tacos with Fresh Salsa

Ingredients
- 100 g cold beef roast (e.g. leg)
- 2 shallots
- 2 tomatoes
- 100 g Charentais melon (peeled)
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- lime juice
- salt
- cayenne pepper
- 4 taco shells (ready-made product)
Instructions
- 1. Slice the roast beef into paper-thin slices.
- 2. Peel the shallots and dice them finely.
- 3. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
- 4. Halve the tomatoes and remove the seeds and pulp.
- 5. Dice the tomato flesh into small cubes.
- 6. Dice the melon into small cubes as well.
- 7. Add the melon cubes, shallots, tomatoes, and cilantro to a bowl.
- 8. Sprinkle sugar over the mixture.
- 9. Mix all ingredients thoroughly together.
- 10. Add some lime juice.
- 11. Season the salsa with salt and cayenne pepper to taste.
- 12. Fill the taco shells with the meat.
- 13. Top the meat in the taco shells with the finished salsa.
