🍽️ Grilled Beef Fillet with Fresh Tomato and Mozzarella Salad

Ingredients
- 2 beef tomatoes
- 1 ball mozzarella (125 g)
- 1 garlic clove
- salt
- 0.5 bunch basil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- pepper (from the mill)
- 350 g beef fillet
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes briefly.
- 2. Remove the tomatoes from the water immediately and rinse them with cold water.
- 3. Peel the skin off the tomatoes.
- 4. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
- 5. Remove the seeds from the tomato quarters.
- 6. Dice the tomato flesh into fine cubes.
- 7. Drain the mozzarella.
- 8. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes.
- 9. Peel the garlic clove.
- 10. Mash the garlic finely with a pinch of salt.
- 11. Wash the basil leaves.
- 12. Shake the basil leaves dry.
- 13. Cut the basil leaves into fine strips.
- 14. Mix the tomato cubes, mozzarella, and basil in a bowl.
- 15. Whisk the vinegar with the mashed garlic.
- 16. Stir the olive oil into the vinegar-garlic mixture.
- 17. Season the dressing mixture with salt and pepper.
- 18. Pour the dressing over the tomato-mozzarella mixture.
- 19. Slice the beef fillet into six thin slices.
- 20. Press the meat slices slightly flat.
- 21. Lightly brush the meat slices with olive oil.
- 22. Place the meat on the hot grill.
- 23. Grill the meat for about two minutes on one side.
- 24. Turn the meat and grill for another two minutes.
- 25. Arrange the grilled meat on top of the tomato salad.
- 26. Serve the dish with garlic baguette.
