  3. 3. Pour the soy sauce and sherry over the beef.
  4. 4. Mix the chili peppers into the beef.
  5. 5. Let the beef marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Wash the asparagus thoroughly.
  7. 7. Peel the lower end of the asparagus.
  8. 8. Cut off the tough ends of the asparagus.
  9. 9. Cut the asparagus into small pieces.
  10. 10. Cook the asparagus in boiling salted water for 10 to 12 minutes until tender-crisp.
  11. 11. Drain the asparagus.
  12. 12. Let the asparagus drain well.
  13. 13. Heat a large wok.
  14. 14. Add the oil to the hot wok.
