🍽️ Juicy Beef Fajitas with Chili Dip

Ingredients
- 100 g sour cream
- 100 g crème fraîche
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 drop lemon juice
- salt
- chili powder
- 500 g beef fillet
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 3 tbsp olive oil (à 30 g)
- pepper
- ground cumin
- ground coriander
- 8 tortilla wraps
Instructions
- 1. Mix sour cream and crème fraîche in a bowl until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- 2. Peel the garlic clove and press it directly into the cream mixture.
- 3. Season the dip with lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
- 4. Transfer the finished sauce into four small jars.
- 5. Sprinkle some chili powder over the surface of each jar.
- 6. Rinse the beef fillet under running water.
- 7. Pat the meat completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 8. Cut the beef fillet into thin strips.
- 9. Wash the bell peppers thoroughly.
- 10. Halve the bell peppers lengthwise.
- 11. Remove the seeds and white pith from the bell peppers.
- 12. Cut the bell peppers into thin strips as well.
- 13. Peel the onion.
- 14. Halve the onion.
- 15. Cut the onion halves into thin strips.
- 16. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan.
- 17. Fry the onions, beef, and pepper strips vigorously over high heat.
- 18. Reduce the heat to medium and cook the ingredients for another five minutes.
- 19. Season the dish generously with salt and black pepper.
- 20. Add cumin and ground coriander.
- 21. Heat the tortillas in a second pan without adding extra oil.
- 22. Keep the heat at medium level and warm the tortillas only briefly.
- 23. Top the warm tortillas with the meat and vegetable mixture.
- 24. Serve the fajitas together with the prepared chili dip.
