🍽️ Quick Beef and Broccoli Pan

Ingredients
- 500 g Beef (topside)
- 2 Limes
- 4 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 dried chili pepper
- 10 g Ginger (1 piece)
- 4 Onions
- 500 g Broccoli
- Salt
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the meat under cold water.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Slice the meat into thin pieces.
- 4. Squeeze the limes.
- 5. Mix the lime juice with the soy sauce.
- 6. Crush the chili pepper.
- 7. Peel the ginger.
- 8. Grate the ginger finely.
- 9. Mix the chili and ginger with the lime mixture.
- 10. Marinate the meat with the sauce.
- 11. Cover the bowl.
- 12. Let the meat marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- 13. Peel the onions.
- 14. Halve the onions.
- 15. Cut the onions into thin wedges.
- 16. Clean the broccoli.
- 17. Wash the broccoli.
- 18. Divide the broccoli into small florets.
- 19. Bring plenty of salted water to a boil.
- 20. Cook the broccoli for about 8 minutes until tender-crisp.
- 21. Remove the broccoli from the water.
- 22. Shock the broccoli with cold water.
- 23. Let the broccoli drain.
- 24. Remove the meat from the marinade.
- 25. Let the meat drain.
- 26. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a pan.
- 27. Sear the meat in batches over high heat for about 3 minutes.
- 28. Remove the seared meat from the pan.
- 29. Heat the remaining sesame oil in the same pan.
- 30. Sauté the onions over medium heat until translucent.
- 31. Add the meat and the remaining marinade to the pan.
- 32. Simmer the mixture for 3 minutes over high heat.
- 33. Add the broccoli to the pan.
- 34. Warm the broccoli while stirring.
- 35. Season the dish with pepper.
