🍽️ Juicy Beef Steak with Herb Quark Cream

Ingredients
- 4 Filets (à approx. 180 g)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 Garlic clove
- 20 g Chive rings
- 3 sprigs Parsley
- 50 g soft Butter
- 100 g Quark
- 1 dash Lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the beef steaks briefly under running water.
- 2. Pat the steaks completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper.
- 4. Heat some oil in a large pan.
- 5. Sear the steaks for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
- 6. Turn the steaks in the pan.
- 7. Fry the steaks for another 2 minutes.
- 8. Reduce the heat on the stove.
- 9. Continue cooking the meat until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
- 10. For medium doneness, you need approx. 2 minutes per side.
- 11. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 12. Mash the garlic with a pinch of salt into a fine paste.
- 13. Rinse the fresh herbs briefly.
- 14. Shake the herbs dry.
- 15. Set aside a few sprigs of the herbs for decoration.
- 16. Pick the parsley leaves off the stems.
- 17. Chop the parsley leaves finely.
- 18. Cut the chives into small rings.
- 19. Mix the chives and chopped parsley with the butter.
- 20. Stir the quark into the butter mixture.
- 21. Stir the garlic paste into the butter mixture.
- 22. Season the cream with salt, lemon juice, and pepper.
- 23. Place the finished steaks on plates.
- 24. Top each steak with a portion of the herb-quark cream.
- 25. Garnish the dish with the remaining fresh herbs.
- 26. Add boiled potatoes in the skin if you like.
