🍽️ Juicy Beef Steaks with Fresh Basil

Ingredients
- 4 Rib-Eye Steaks (150–200 g each)
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
- 1 handful Basil
- Olive oil (for drizzling)
- Lemon wedges (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 80 degrees Celsius fan-assisted.
- 2. Rinse the steaks briefly under running water and then pat them completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Peel the garlic cloves and slice them into thin pieces.
- 4. Heat the oil in a grill pan.
- 5. Add the garlic slices to the hot pan.
- 6. Place the steaks in the pan and fry them on medium heat for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
- 7. Make sure the garlic does not burn.
- 8. Season the steaks with salt and pepper at the end.
- 9. Wrap the steaks in aluminum foil.
- 10. Place the wrapped steaks in the preheated oven for 5 to 8 minutes to rest.
- 11. Wash the basil under cold water.
- 12. Shake the basil dry.
- 13. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
- 14. Cut the basil leaves into thin strips.
- 15. Take the steaks out of the foil and place them on the plates.
- 16. Drizzle some fresh oil over the steaks.
- 17. Garnish the steaks with the basil strips and a lemon wedge.
- 18. Serve the steaks immediately.
