  5. 5. Sauté the onions in the remaining fat until soft.
  6. 6. Return the meat to the pan with the onions.
  7. 7. Stir everything well to combine.
  8. 8. Pour the broth over the mixture.
  9. 9. Simmer the ragout covered for about 30 minutes.
  10. 10. Stir in the paprika, curry powder, paprika powder, thyme, and pumpkin.
  11. 11. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
  12. 12. Simmer the ragout covered for another 30 minutes.
  13. 13. Check if the pumpkin is soft.
  14. 14. Taste the ragout one last time and adjust seasoning if needed.
  15. 15. Serve the finished dish.
