🍽️ Spicy Beef Strips with Peppers

Ingredients
- 250 g beef tenderloin
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sherry
- 1 carrot
- bell peppers (1 yellow, 1 red & 1 green)
- 1 red chili pepper
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sherry
- 2 tbsp chicken broth
- 0.5 tsp cornstarch
- pepper
- 0.5 tsp sugar
Instructions
- 1. Slice the beef into thin strips. Cut across the grain of the meat.
- 2. Toss the beef strips in the cornstarch until lightly coated.
- 3. Place the meat into a bowl.
- 4. Drizzle the meat with soy sauce and sherry.
- 5. Let the meat marinate in the refrigerator.
- 6. Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise.
- 7. Remove the seeds from the bell peppers.
- 8. Wash the bell peppers.
- 9. Pat the bell peppers dry.
- 10. Slice the bell peppers into strips.
- 11. Halve the chili peppers.
- 12. Remove the seeds from the chili peppers.
- 13. Cut the chili peppers into small pieces.
- 14. Heat a large non-stick frying pan.
- 15. Add the oil to the hot pan.
- 16. Brown the meat on all sides over high heat.
- 17. Remove the meat from the pan immediately.
- 18. Sauté the peppers in the same pan.
- 19. Stir the peppers frequently.
- 20. Whisk the remaining ingredients together in a small bowl.
- 21. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan.
- 22. Bring the sauce to a boil.
- 23. Return the meat to the pan.
- 24. Stir everything together briefly over high heat.
- 25. Serve the dish with rice.
